Living near SLE Lupus?

I have just been diagnosed next to a mild form of Lupus. I am only young and the facts the doctors have given me are a bit frightening!! I would love to hear from anyone who have the condition and is still managing a normal, healthy life.
s can be painful contained by the joints and muscles, make you tired and so on. Not a death sentence hon. I enjoy no visible signs to the naked eye. Just the pain until I started meds. Sun is not a devout thing for you , however. Hang in there.
Don't be frightened!

My best recommendation is to take care of yourself! I be in denial and didn't take care of my body the first 2 years. I be constantly sick, tired, and felt miserable.

My blood levels have not been elevated since (SED rate that measures the body's inflammation) and the doctor's enjoy given me a wonderful report twice now!

While your initial diagnosis is scary, do everything you can to take meticulousness of your body. By taking on my diet and lifestyle, I have been able to turn my go around to where no believes I even suffer from a disorder. If you ever need to chat or ask Qs, feel free to message me. Good Luck and Just know you are not alone surrounded by this! Source(s): Diagnosed with Lupus, Sjogren's Syndrome, Antiphosophilip Syndrome
It is frightening to find out you own lupus, especially as there's so much nonsense written about it on the web and so copious overwhelming facts.
ou have mild lupus it's highly likely that it will stay mild, you may hold occasional 'flares' when the lupus is active and you feel ill but they simply come and go. They're usually caused by the same things that trigger lupus surrounded by the first place ie viruses, hormonal activity, stress, sunshine etc.

We have lots of patients who's lupus started when they be quite young and they're leading full and helpful lives. You just need to learn how to tread yourself. Stress can trigger lupus flares so you also need to learn how to relax and count to ten in stressful situations, distinctly you can't always avoid stress but 'don't sweat the small stuff'.

There's a young lupus group that is contained by London UK but you can e-mail them for advice: young.lupus(a)gmail.com

We also have a lupus nurse online that can answer question you might have, her own daughter has had lupus since a young at heart age so she will be very helpful: http://www.lupus.org.uk/onlinenurse.htm.
rsonally hold had lupus for 14 years, I follow a healthy diet and exercise and that helps hold my lupus under control as lupus likes exercise and a good nutritious diet (it does NOT close to a poor diet and smoking, so avoid those like the plague!).

Stay positive as that helps too and remember lupus is just constituent of your life not all of it so try not to let it pocket over.
