Ive just been to the doc today next to the same prob...turned out i have an infection in my trachea...windpipe i consider. He told me rule of thumb is to give a cold 3 weeks. If no improvement see your docs as you may need antibiotics merely to help your body shift it a bit. Im glad i went.
