A interview in relation to coughing/sinuses stuff?

So this isn't entirely about my son, but it is in regards to him. Since I still breastfeed the merely way for my son's dad to see him overnight is for me to go to his dad's place with my son. Well we are planning on doing this tomorrow hours of darkness. However, today he came to my place and had a cough, one that made him leave after individual being there 20 minutes because he didn't want to get us sick. Well he said that besides the cough he have stuffy sinuses and a headache (which are probably all related). Today after work he said he feel better, not really coughing, sinuses are more clear, no headache. I guess I am wondering if I should consider not having my son and I stay with him tomorrow night? The weather where on earth I lived though has been in the mid 90's yesterday and today and especially humid, to the point where you can't even be outside. Could that cause it? What are your thoughts?
Answers:    Ya'll were already contained by contact with him... so most likely if he is contagious you might have it already. But sinus infections aren't contagious so ya'll should be fine
weather probably didn't mete out it..
that usually only happens when pollen levels are elevated.
