I use a c-pap nightly and be wondering what to do if the power go out...is at hand a opening to receive it work?

Answers:    You are kind of out of luck if the power fails. As the other person said unless you own a generator or a battery operated unit ( which is not usually designed for long term home use) your machine will not work. But don't worry your concealing outfit has relief valves so you will not suffocate if the power go out while you are sleeping. However, if you are a camper, some units will run on DC so you can run them off a cigarette lighter or a marine battery-operated...which I suppose would work at home as well. I know Resmed units have the chance for this and I am not sure which others. You could ask your medical equipment provider about your particular unit.
Good Luck
