What is a Neoplasm? I am startled to destruction!?
What exactly is a Neoplasm? My husband has either a Neoplasm on his lung or an abcess. I am fearing that this resources he has cancer.

Answers: Kathleen, a neoplasm is an abnormal mass of tissue that results when cells divide more than they should or do not die when they should. Neoplasms may be benign (not cancer), or malignant (cancer). It is also call tumor.
That said, you just have to wait until they identify it as an abcess or a neoplasm. I am sorry to hear that he potentially have this. There is still hope that this is benign ... thats what we can pray for :) Source(s): RRT
