Is this common or do I enjoy asthma? Breathing problem!?
Okay well... I just started school and we've be running laps every morning. The class I got put in have a lot of fast people, haha, so I try and push myself to maintain up with their pace. But after just running two lap this morning, I started coughing, a lot. And at times I felt that little jolt surrounded by my mouth like I was about to gag? Oh and every time I breathed within it felt like something was within the back of my throat and it made me cough more. After a while it went away, but I still cough frequently. Didn't exercise over the summer. (argh I'm bad, I know) :P So is this asthma or some other breathing problem? Will it move about away after I get used to running everyday? (Ahaa, sorry, I'm un-educated in the medical field)

Answers: well here's the entity, you just started running out of the blue right. With no training, no preparation before hand. So as expected your body will be in pain and shut down due to the hard work that it's doing.
Your lungs are not use to that category of work and heavy breathing. You have to give your body time to adjust. Maybe after a few days, you may be aware of better and breathe better on your runs. Just remember to take it easy and breathe as you run. Focus on your breathing while you work on your run too.
