Am I more at risk this flu season because I've have pneumonia in the past?

I am 25. Last year I became very sick and eventually went into the hospital for 6 days near pneumonia. They said 75% of my lungs were filled. I could have died.
ays, I'm anxious to death that it's going to happen again. I have 2 small children who I love more than anything within this world - I don't want to leave them early.
What can I do to protect myself from getting pneumonia again?
Is it likely that I will bring it again, since I've had it before?
What are my chances of survival if I obtain it again? I mean, is it usually worse after the first time/does your body fight it through better?
