Amoxicillin after trying azithromycin?
Is it safe to start taking amoxicillin a week + a half after finishing a Z-pack of azithromycin?
ground: I surmise I have bronchitis and the Z-pack did absolutely nothing. I be prescribed a steroid inhaler and am feel very uncomfortable using it so I'm thinking I should try amoxicillin. I enjoy a deep cough, no fever, no other symptoms and don't smoke. I've had this cough for a month in a minute. :(
Answers: You should see a physician, since drugs should be taken only when diagnoses are made. You can't diagnose yourself, especially when you "think" you should "try" something. Medical school is there and take a long time for a reason. Drugs like that shouldn't just be thrown around. You don't even know what you hold. If azithromycin didn't work, who's to say you even have a bacterial infection in the first place? Go to a proper physician who can present you a real diagnosis.
Once whatever the cause of your cough is established, a medication regiment can be determined from at hand. By your doctor, not by you. If you weren't satisfied with the one who gave you an inhaler, see another one and explain why. A worthy doctor will listen to your feelings, too.
stick with the inhaler ,you didn`t indicate which one it is ,ventolin ,is very mild , seretide is excellent ,becatide have to be taken in conjunction with ventolin , 2x1 ....amoxicllian is only to be used if you hold a build up of muck in the lungs , azithromycin is not as strong ,
