Constant idea of chest cold?

The beginning of this year I had a bad cold near productive cough and aching chest for about two weeks. It cleared up, then again at the failure of February it felt like it was coming vertebrae, only now there is no cough, of late a constant feeling of having a chest cold. The only agency I can describe it is as if it is cold outside and you feel an aching feeling when breathing severely. It feels like a straining in my chest and throat. I occasionally discern as if I cannot get a breathe, only for a few seconds, as if I can breathe contained by but the air has nowhere to go. Along near the aching of my chest, I occasionally have an ache beneath each of my armpits but do not feel anything swollen. I have see a doctor and have been told that my lungs sound clear, I enjoy no wheezing and no cough although my spirometer test was low. I was prescribed an inhaler which I hold used a few times, but it does not seem to help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Answers:    YOU DON'T SAY YOUR AGE BUT HAVE YOU HAD A CHEST XRAY RECENTLY? LUNGS SOUNDING CLEAR & BEING CLEAR ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. UNDER YOUR ARMS ARE LYMPH NODES WHICH ARE LIKE THE FINAL DEFENCE WHEN SOMETHING IS GOING ON IN YOUR BODY. MY SON HAD SOMETHING SIMILAR & COUGHED UP CLEAR STICKY PHLEM THEY GAVE HIM AN INHALER TOO.. PROBLEM WAS THAT IT WAS PNEUMONIA..CHECK YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE. THAT FEELING IN MY CHEST(HEAVINESS PRESSURE HURT TO BREATHE IN) WAS THE BEGINNING OF A BLOOD CLOT THAT GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK..THAT'S HOW YOUR BODY TELLS YOU SOMETHING IS UP...
