Already be to the dermatologist twice?

I have mild acne I'd say and I've been to the dermatologist twice and none of the things they own given me worked! At first it was just topical stuff like differin consequently it was doxycycline and now im on minocycline. Nothing is working and its getting so annoying! Is there ANYTHING that will work & why isn't the stuff they're giving me working?
k you!
Answers:    Stick with the Dermatologist. Some acne is more resistant to the treatment. It lately doesn't go away in a month of being treated regardless. It's going on for a year long thing with constant supervision and tweaking by the MD.
My son's acne on his face cleared within about 9 months...gone, but the acne on his back is still present but much less. Why? The final is different type skin than the face and is covered in clothing most of the day, habitually by several layers of clothing. Sweat and hormones as a teenager have lots to do beside it and he can't/won't reach his back like he wash everything else.
Don't stop...keep going and you will have excellent results. Source(s): ER RN x 40 yrs
So with mild acne who have been there and done that...and looks great now!
You may want to look at the involved ingredients and give different ones a try. Try Salicylic acid, Benzoyl Peroxide, Resorcinol and Sulfur, Acetone, Isopropyl Alcohol, and Polysorbate (various percentages).
