What cause small red spots on hand?

For about the past 2 weeks I have be getting tiny red spots on the back of my hands. There's hundreds of them. They are not itchy or painful. I work within a deli and wear gloves to make food, but they are latex free so it can't be an allergy to that. Sometimes soap will set it off, but then sometimes it won't. It is sometimes accompany by a stiffening of the skin on my hands as well. As soon as I leave work, they slowly walk away. Any possibilities?
Answers:    Bad circulation. Stop smoking or start running lose some weight. If none of those are it check with your doctor
