Accutane put somebody through the mill more or less scar? Help?

I just went to the dermatologist for the first time and i got some pills and other stuff to try and if that doesnt work she is going to put me on accutane straight away so im excited logically. I have unfortunately some scars from acne on my chest and support. Not like the pocket ones just like results. Will accutane help the scars as well? And if what are my other options for getting rid of the scars? Thanks guys :)
Answers:    Accutane will do nothing for scar or hyperpigmentation (red marks). It will, however, keep you from getting new scars or red results as it will get rid of the acne causing them. The hyperpigmentation will fade on its own over time. The best thing you can do is wear sunscreen when you're outside because exposure to sunlight will if truth be told make the red marks last longer. Source(s): on accutane
