does either of your parents have cold sores? im betting it is herpes-and you shouldnt be popping the blisters-the fluid inside is how its spread to other parts of skin. dont touch it with your undressed hands. they make over the counter cold sore medication, just grasp some and use it... its a little expensive (like 10 bucks for a tiny tube) but that tube will last forever.
ou do touch a blister, ALWAYS wash your hand with soap and water-

as far as your parents, if either of them have it, you could enjoy gotten it as a small child when they kissed your face.. its more commonly spread by kissing
it could be maybe you need to check it out but what ever you do dont touch your body when you touch your lip could result in it to spread..
