A patch of skin by shank`s pony that lacks foreboding?
Today I noticed a patch of skin on the bottom of my foot kind of feels numb or dead. (I'm not sure how to describe it.) It feels almost like there is something caked on the bottom of my foot explicitly blocking my foot from touching the floor, but there is nothing on my foot. I've tried looking at Web Md and I'm not having much luck. Any info. would be appreciated.
Answers: It is probably tattered nerve endings. The type of footgear that you choose to wear can cause this. It could also be at a tangent neuropathy (enter that into the Web MD search field). This condition can get so bad that you get the impression like you are wearing a sock when you are not. Or be just downright painful. Some drugs close to diphenhydramine hydrochloride will cause it.
ou wear lace up shoes, make sure they are not too tight. If non-lace up, make sure they do not pinch or bind. And remember that these things simply happen with age, but keep an eye on it so you don't allow this condition to capture worse.
Edit: Good insight, Zac. Yes, it very well could be a plantar's wart in the initiation stage.
