What looks similar to acne scar but aren't acne scar.?

theres a woman who works at a coffee shop I go to, she has red marks on 30% of her obverse, they look pitted...side of her face, her cheeks, her jaw etc..I figure she's in the order of 35, her complexion is otherwise perfect, such that theres no way she has.. or have ever had acne, but they look just like acne scar...but her hygene is 100%, so is her grooming, her personality , her dental work, etc...in fact she's extremely delicate, healthy, intelligent, slender, ...those marks are a total shock, they simply don't belong on her type of person....its as if you would see sandra bullock next to them, theres nothing about her that suggests an explanation...no possibility of drug use or bad nutrition or anything etc...so what leaves those generous of marks?.......is smallpox still around?
