Accutane 4 months no amendment!!?

Ok well I'm in my 4th month of accuane with no raise and I'm starting to get pissed because my face is actuall worse than what it was when I started. So my dermatologist started me on 80 mgs for the first two months next she bumped me up to 120 mgs for the third month the she bumped me up to 160mgs for this month and still no improvement. Btw I'm on the generic brand Amnesteem. I'm starting to lose hope in accutane. The wierd thing is that this worked for my brother. Should I still hope to see improvements any time soon?

I don't know how much you weigh, but the conventional total dosage for a round of accutane is about 100 mg/kg body weight. (It really doesn't seem to event the speed at which you've taken it in, so your regimen has given you about 13200mg. That's a pretty upright amount for an average person. There certainly are other tricks that can be used in those cases that are stubborn, such as spironolactone, and other tricks. Hopefully your dermatologist is up to the treat with contempt.
