HIV Risk from Protected Anal Sex and Results?
About two months ago I had protected anal sex with someone I met at a bar. I be the bottom and we did it twice. The first time he ejaculated while he was inside me, though not very far. The second time it be on me, but some got in my eye. I got tested roughly speaking two weeks ago and the results came back negative. However, I've read that after just six weeks results can still be inconclusive. Is there any need for a follow up since it was protected sex? Is the certainty that it got in my eye a risk factor? Thanks.
Answers: No. You're straight. (No Pun intended) You only get it orally, anally, or sexually (female to amle sex). Protected sex, you hold nothing to worry about. If you own any other doubts, ask a doctor
The fact that you had protected intercourse indicates to me that your partner was a considerate adequate person to wear protection to both protect you -- and himself.
, perhaps you might consider what a wonderful piece of equipment each of our eyes is. To survive, everywhere we take them, they must actively be able to protect themselves. And they have. Your result be negative. Just accept that.
Now, you must simply consider that having sex is one of the greatest blessings we can own in life. I presume it was importantly enjoyable for you. It must have been since you did update us that you did it twice. Meet him again and do it some more. But don't get fearful about getting aids. If you want to have multiple partner like I did, then it is preferable that you get a check up monthly or bimonthly. Don't generate it a stern prerequisite to an enjoyable part of enthusiasm, just consider it a wise precaution. And boost up your sex life next to fun things from a sex shop, too. Fortunately, by the way, I never caught aids.
No, you are alright.
The anus is not designed for sex because it does no tself lubricate like women do. If you anal your skin/ glands will break leaving you with broken skin exposure. You will immediately be part of statistics coz the say gay men are most infected with HIV, AIDS & Herpes,
And yes, it is recommended that you go back to see your doctor after 6 weeks of risk of transmission.
Sorry to say aloud it but you should have seen your doctor straight away (like the next day) to tell about PEP - Post-exposure prophylaxis. Anyway, read the website that I have shared.
her thing I might mention is that not everyone go through seroconversion. It's when your body has been infected and your immune system tries to fight bad this new virus in your system. I went through it after I be infected but not everyone does - thus the reason behind why some people are infected near HIV and don't know it.
