HIV-like symptoms a few days after sexual intercourse, do I enjoy Aids?
My girlfriend has been using birth control patches for a few months, and we hold only been dating a few weeks. We had sex on friday hours of darkness and even the day after i started to develop a sore throat feeling. Now (Wednesday) I took a sick day bad because I have an extremlely sore throat (hurts to swallow), headaches, and a low fever (involving fragility.) I went to the doctor and she said that I have an extremely high white blood cell count, and that it is a bacterial infection. Could i possibly enjoy HIV/AIDS? Help!

Don't trust her within the future though, she may catch something else and give it to you too. You're lucky, you dodged the bullet once. You may not be so lucky subsequent time. And remember, you can catch it through the mouth too. So make sure she wears a feminine condom if you eat her. (Sorry to be so graphic but its your health and life span we're talking about here.) You could dump her but whose to say your subsequent partner wouldn't be equally unreliable/untrustworthy? At least with this one your guard is up and you're dealing with a particular quantity.
