HIV-AIDS press.............?

If you have HIV and get a cold will it take longer to jump away then usual? (Will you immune system have trouble combating it?) Will it get worse?
ou hold HIV would a person get sick often?

I do not hold it I am curious I am not trying to make anyone mad my friend says he have it, I want to understand it a bit more.
Answers:    Hello, Justin; I think it is most compassionate of you to try to understand the temper of the HIV disease. But I would strongly urge you to go and ask at the STD clinic ( sexually transmitted disease) at your nearest hospital. There you will be given understanding and the right answers to the questions you want to ask.
Encourage your friend to get hold of treatment and follow through with it. It is terribly important, not simply for him but the whole world.
When you are first infected you may have some symptoms like the flu but not consideration any other signs. Over time the virus replicates slowly waiting for a chance for the immune system to be called into action. So If you are HIV pos and not sick you can break your arm and your immune system is call into action as it produces the immune response it is also producing more HIV at the same time. So you can see how this changes things for the worse. A cold may be a minor entry or a major thing depending on his age and physical condition, diet, etc. Each individual has their own response. The strain of HIV is also an issue if he have acquired his virus from someone that is currently on drug therapy for it later your friend may not respond to that same treatment. Each HARRT regime is tailored to the patient and his genotype of HIV. I have personally particular people that were HIV pos for 15 to 18 years before starting on medication. This is adjectives about the individual and their immune response . Source(s): Poz.com cdc.org nih.org CFA.org
yes HIV-AIDS is serious so serious that there is no cure doctors in recent times give you a cocktail of all their strongest drugs to see what might help the immune system is almost completely suppressed so it take about three times as long for ppl to over come even just a common cold. they could even die from it.
HIV/AIDS affects your immune system. When people die from AIDS, it's usually a cold/flu that actually kill them because they can't fight it off. So yes, if they get a cold/flu, afterwards may die. Wash your hands a lot when you are with your friend.
le are living next to HIV/AIDS for years and years now with medication. It's pretty amazing.

Don't share needles with your friend, own sex, and if he/she has a cut, make sure they cover it. You can only bring it through sharing blood, but better be safe then sorry.
aids = autoimmune deficiency syndrome.
means you don't HAVE an immune system.
If you have HIV it's momentous to protect yourself from getting sick anyway possible, because of the body's inability to fight

Unlike herpes or gonorrhea or etc which causes various issues those STI will brand name you sick but don't primarily attack the immune system like the HIV virus.
r contracting HIV the immune system is weakened over time. Depending on how affected the body when a infection comes around will determin how soon the infection "kick in." Source(s): clinical laboratory scientist
