Does this nouns close to PID?
For a while now I have had strain in my pelvis and recently it has gotten worse. Originally I thought it be a reoccurrence of a bladder infection I had a while ago because I am having a little trouble urinating, but I tested refusal for that. My lower abdomen feels hard and swollen. It mainly hurts when I press on it and when I clench the pelvic muscles. The pain is on both sides, but seems to sort of switch every now and consequently and one side becomes more painful than the other. I am going for an ultrasound - the doctor thinks it could be an ovarian cyst or something. I am awfully worried it's PID! However, this seems unlikely, as I my fiance and I have only ever be with each other and he is completely faithful. Also I do not douche and enjoy not had an IUD. I'm looking for you opinions on whether you think this is PID or your experience next to what PID feels like. Please help!
Answers: It sounds similar to it could be cysts, as that's what my symptoms felt like. It is possible that you could have PID though, so bring in sure to bring it up with your doctor and press him/her to find out for you. A friend of mine had similar sounding symptoms with endometriosis.
Whatever it ends up man, best of luck to you!
