How accurate is an HIV exam 4 days after potential exposure?
Some actual statistics or references would be nice. No reason to just present a guess. How does test accuracy change over time? And what are the numbers for test taken very quickly after HIV exposure?
Answers: 4 days is not really long enough as it can lug up to three months for HIV to proliferate enough in the blood to show up on a test. Get tested 3 and 6 months after date of exposure to be sure. Hope this help x
