HPV Vs. HIV? and other concerns roughly the HPV virus?

I am worried! I have not told anyone this at all, except for the boy I am seeing. He is understanding, but I discern he gave this to me and my feelings are going away to him. I am afraid that I am not worthy of anyone else. Please I need some assistance, if you can answer my question. And if there are support HPV groups?
Also, I have a question in the region of HIV...I have been tested and am negative, but can the HIV falsehood dormant in my body for years like HPV does? If so, what is the point of the HIV test?
