Does my girlfriend enjoy an STD?

Her vagina itches really bad constantly, and it burns when she pees, but she isn't sure if it's from scratching or otherwise, and it appears to be swollen, but again could be from her scratching. Just a few minutes ago she found for a moment bit of white discharge. We looked up symptoms but can't seem to find anything that fits directly. Anyone have any ideas or give support to?
Answers:    possibly UTI (urinary tract infection) or a yeast infection. I'm not too adapted with yeast infection but my girl had one a while back and symptoms don't nouns too far off. Might want to call a clinic and ask them. Best of luck. Source(s): i guess experience
Is the discharge cottage cheese curd looking? If so, could be a yeast infection. Does the discharge hold an odor? If so, could be an STD. There is over the counter yeast infection medication at walmart or any drug store. If it's white and cottage cheese looking and no odor..then try the monistat over the counter..but if it has an odor and not cottage cheese curd looking...she should go see a Dr. ASAP.
She should see a doctor to find out for sure what is causing her symptoms. No one can diagnose her over the computer. The best suggestion anyone can give is to tell her to see a doctor. Source(s): Common sense.
It sounds like probably a yeast infection, but to be undisruptive she should go to the doctor. If there is an odor it does NOT mean she have an std, she could have bacterial vaginosis which is similar to a yeast infection, just differnent natural bateria level being off kilter
It could be. It's probably a yeast infection, though, or a UTI.
Have her go to the doctor and win checked out.
Hello, I'm a doctor. Use clindamycin phosphate-vaginal cream. I think that you want to capture more info about it. Please go to ----> http://paramedic.notlong.com/?q=clindamycin-phosphate-vaginal-cream&qid=20090607013601AAuYZSt
It sounds like it could be a yeast infection. There is a test that should be at your local Rite Aid or CVS or walmart wherever that you can examination yourself to see if you just have a bacterial infection or if it is something more serious. Or you could just try some monistat yeast infection medication to be precise usually a paste in a tube or you can get inserts that you insert and it puts the medication with the meds inside you...If these dont work just go to the doctor.
