No, and I resent how many peoples answers are suggesting STD's only, which is unmerited and scares people for no reason. Depending on the make-up of the bump, it all depends. Herpes is always going to be VERY painful and extremely itchy. Basically, you'll know if it's Herpes. It will also be an start sore, but many people have miscellaneous outbreaks that range in mild to severe. As far as HPV, the bump you may find, if you can even spot one, will not be painful at adjectives, and many people mistake them for regular pimples. If you're not experiencing anything unusual with these bumps, I doubt it's STD relatebeside yourselfcould honestly be a normal pimple, or a hair follicle growing in wrong.

I am beyond sick and tired of people writing in that herpes is ALWAYS painful and that you would "know" if you have it. NOT TRUE. I was diagnosed yesterday with it, and I had simply a slightly sore area down there (just a little red) and one bump that literally go away in two days. Not a painful bump, just a small just about noticable one. I was shocked when my doctor diagnosed me. Best thing to do is just receive a simple blood test done to find out for sure.
