A funky smell from down below...?

So I just recently started birth control and I don't know if that has anything to do beside it or not but for about a 3 days now my nether region has be smelling like garlic. I don't know why but I would like to and I would also like to know how to draw from rid of it because it is really bothering my boyfriend and me. By the way, I'm clean I take showers everyday and wipe up my self and groom so its not from neglect or anything I also wear cotton panties so its breathing fine. I also don't have any infections or anything like I said I lately started birth control so I just went to the doctor and everything was honest. Anyone got any ideas?

sounds close to something you should see a gynecologist about Source(s): bp
i just had this same exact problem. its called bacterial vaginitis and its a bacterial infection inwardly the vagina when the ph balance is changed. which can be caused my birth control. just jump to the doctor and its a simple test that they give you antibiotics for and within 2 days the smell is completely gone.
It's the birth control! Trust me. That happened when I STOPPED them. Eww, it be horrid. The my pH levels went wacko.
st get sure I wash it, and I guess wait for things to get hindmost to normal. I also eat a lot of yogurt very soon =D

Best of luck, garlic girl.
Call a gynecologist, this way you can know for sure.
antibiotics can start a yeast infection after you go to the doctor
P.S. Antibiotics will invalidate your birth control pills if you were taking antibiotics, FYI for next time
