Any point getting HPV vaccine if I already enjoy the virus?

I suspect I might have it.. so I'm going to see a doctor after I get back from my holiday
Thanks
Answers:    no because a vaccine is just the dead virus put into you so that the body can be all set to fight against the real one

hope this helped
If you already have HPV, you should not grasp the vaccine because it does not treat or cure HPV. The vaccine prevents certain types of HPV but you have to get it in the past contracting the virus. However, if your doctor says that you don't have HPV then unambiguously get the vaccine!
an FYI, women up to age 26 can get the vaccine. After that, it is usually not administered because statistically the women would have be exposed to the virus.

vaccine isnt the dead virus... its the virus... in a very small dose. that method your body builds up an immunity to fight off this small dose of the vaccine so if you do capture the virus then your body already has plenty of antibodies produced to help fracas it off or stop it from entering your system. there is no point getting a vaccine if you already have the virus. However, seeing as you are not sure if you enjoy it or not, go see your doctor.
GET THE SHOTS.

I had to put that in caps because everyone else is axiom not to bother. ;-) There are over a hundred strains of HPV, and the vaccine protects against a handful of these. However, the strains the vaccine protects against are the major cause of most cases of cervical cancer. So even if you have a strain of HPV (or even several strains), you probably don't own all of the strains that the vaccine is designed to protect you from, and maybe you don't have any of these strains. Get the shot to help out protect you from these strains.
if you already own the virus there is no point in getting the shot seeing as how HPV is with u for duration... its ok tho, mad ppl got it
No there is no point, the HPV shot is preventative, so you hold to get it before you get HPV. I thought I could still acquire it for the other types that I didn't have but my doctor told me no yesterday... Source(s): just found out from my doctor yesterday..
