How can I comfort my sister who have Herpes?
I recently found out that my sister contracted Herpes from one of her partners. She's been exceedingly introverted lately, she's even talked about not wanting to live any longer because of this.
not normal she is discussion about not wanting to live.
what really upsets me about all of this is that guys/girls knowing them enjoy it, they go and have unprotected sex. spreading it like butter, not benevolent for the other person.
It is very heart-rending, and unfortunate, that there is such a "broken" association with herpes. Although it is difficult to relieve the anguish of the diagnosis, it may be courteous for her to know that there is no known dangers from have herpes, and that 95% of us have herpes type I (cold sores) detectable in our blood. Also, as time goes on, the breakouts become further and further apart. Valtrex taken on a daily basis can help decrease outbreaks almost completely.
's what I would have needed to hear from my sister or a friend when I was diagnosed with herpes. I have herpes and told some of my family connections, they didn't make a big deal out of it or treat me any different.
She is going through a very tough phase right immediately. She is coping with a lot. Maybe have her look at some sites online that offer factual information about Herpes. It could help her to better have a handle on it and it may not seem quite as a big deal if she understand it better. As far as getting married, there are many people who own Herpes and I am sure she will find someone who is understanding and loving. It just takes the right ( giving ) person. Maybe tell her that right now the most noteworthy thing is for her to concentrate on herself and take care of herself. Love will come soon adequate.
It will take time for her to sort through all of this and to come to an understanding in the region of the whole issue. Source(s): My own diagnoses of HPV, recently.
