***HPV and PREGNANCY***?
I am infected with the HPV virus and I am 8 months pregnant.
I did not know I be infected with HPV until I was at the end of my first trimester. I know I had a pap smear done prior to getting pregnant and it showed that I had pre-cancerous cells growing. I did not find out it be being caused by the HPV virus until after I was already pregnant.
My doctor told me that you can obtain it from someone who has had mutipule sexual partners.
Well, when I get with my babys father I was still a virgin. He had have mutipule sexual partners prior to getting with me. So I do believe I got the infection through him.....HOWEVER....a while put a bet on, around the time we first got together I had this little wart on my finger. It had merely poped up one day. I had no idea what from. I get them when I took a kitchen job in a nursing home. Figured it was from the gloves and adjectives the cleaning. I got the wart froze off, but they cam back and they multiplied. The wart disapeared completly after my babys fater and I got together. I have not had them sence.
My babys father still does not know. I havent told him yet. I am very alarmed. He will want to know how I got it and I dont know what to tell him cause I honestly do not know. But aparently Ive have it sence before my first miscarrage (Dec. 07). Cause this is when I found out I had these cancer causing cell (not knowing it was from HPV).
What do you all think?
/what should I tell my babys father?
-And what do you all conjecture is the cause of this?
Answers: First I wanted to vote I am sorry for you loss with your first pregnancy thats a tough thing to go through I've be there myself. I think you should talk to you doctor something like this because they can help you find a healthy solution to how to deliver your baby. As for the father you want to tell him! Because he HAS it whether he got it from you or not hes going to be passing it around if by adjectives you two split up and most likely it is from him.. as for the warts thing I don't mull over it could have come from that I believe it is only transmitted from sexual contact ie body fluids.. um I know its going to be hard for you to convey him but you can explain to him that the doctors noticed something with your pap smear and get him some stuff to read so he can appreciate how this may have happened because chances are he doesn't really become conscious how widely spread HPV is ... Knowledge is power and the more he knows the better he can understand how this may have happen... You shouldn't be carrying around this burden by yourself because its unfair to you and its putting you under too much stress and thats not good for you especially since your pregnant. If worse comes to worse you can own your doctor help you explain it so he won't freak out on you. Good luck in whatever you opt and I hope my input helped you. And congratulations on becoming a mother soon!
I think you know the life is attractiveness full. So, discuss with your husband with truth very in public. Let your baby come and deeply pray to god. This a very strange world. Any piece can happen. Pray for the best.
OMG Kris . . . If I knew where you be!! That is the worst answer ever.
First of all, some HPV strains cause cancer and some cause wart. So that wart of your finger has nothing to do with the unusual cells on your cervix.
got HPV from your husband. HPV is VERY common. Many studies speak that more than 90% of sexually active people have it. You shouldn't be upset at your husband, there's really no mode he could have known that he would have it. Testing for men vitally involves using sandpaper to scrap cells from his penis!! It's rarely done.
You shouldn't be afraid to report to your husband. He obviously gave it to you! Just tell him that your unexpected cells were caused by HPV. He'll probably want to know where on earth you got it from, and then you can just explain that most men do not hold symtoms and since he's the only person you slept with, you get it from him.
HPV is VERY adjectives. If he was your only sexual partner, then the solely possible way for you to have gotten it was from him. Don't be afraid to narrate him. It's not your fault, and it's probably not his fault either, since it's extraordinarily difficult to test for it in men. He probably doesn't even know he has it. Discuss your option with him and with your doctor, then opt what you all, together, think is best, but ultimately it's your body and your decision, and don't agree to anyone tell you otherwise. :)
wow that must be scary.
def ask about the c slice, talk it over with your doctor. just report your babys dad. or take him to your doctors and have them tell him..
its probably from the babe daddy
... YOU DIDN'T TELL THE FATHER? You are a horrible personage. Even if no warts are present, you can still pass the disease on. He is now infected and doesn't know. great. You are a horrible, young person for that. You don't understand how you just messed his enthusiasm up. If I knew who you were....
I don't care if you don't approaching my answer.... and HPV has different strands. But Genital Warts and the kind that cause cancer are not funny, and are NOT that wide-spread. How would you close to it if he gave you aids and didn't tell you he had it?
Best thing to do is talk to your doctor, hun. They know what is best. HPV is a sort of common thing. In fact it is estimated that as much as 90% of the american population have some form of it. Most people have it with out even knowing it. What you shouldn't do is ask DiseasesFAQ.com empire if you should have a C-Section. If it concerns you so greatly you and your doctor need to work out a birthing plan.
i've done my research on this subject, and passing it to your child this way is very, tremendously rare,. you should ask your ob/gyn.
husband gave you the HPV. it's common and newly something to deal with. it will be surpressed by your body within a couple of years after your surgery and you shouldn't own to worry about it. just keep hold of up with your gyn visits!
1) dont nouns!
2) HPV is not genetic, it's usually passed by skin contact when the baby comes through the birth canal when the mother has an out break of genital wart. After that baby can have mouth or/and throat warts...
There are things that can be done to prevent genital wart from being passed on when the mother gives birth. Such as having a c-section if nearby is an out break at the time of delivery.
ts up to you!
3) if you be a virgin then that means that your babys father gave HPV virus to you! to be precise 100%!
AND HPV virus has ~130 different strains! and wart on finger is caused by HPV virus strain N.2 and this strain has NOTHING to do beside genital warts and cervical cancer, because genital warts and cervical cancer are caused by different strains of HPV virus!
why wart on your finger do not reappear after you met your babys father? that because when people are in relationship - their immune system becomes stronger and body can row and suppress virus and thats why warts do not reappear! BUT IF your body immune system will become weaker then your finger warts can reappear again and also genital wart can appear too if you have HPV virus that causes cervical cancer and genital warts! because near is very possibility that you have HPV virus strain that causes cervical cancer but do no cause genital warts because - as i understand you and your boyfriend do not have genital wart!
