How adjectives is HPV within the standard population?
I probably have it since i recently found out someone I slept with have it. Im not really mad, because I know its hard to avoid even with protection which I used. I be talking to a Doc earlier who said almost everyone who is sexually active will be exposed to it eventually, but I freshly wanted your opinion on that statistic. Thanks
Answers: Instead of being lame and adjectives and pasting something off of Wikipedia I'll say this: Almost EVERYONE has it and most don't even know it. It's almost as prevalent as oral herpes. Use condoms other but even that won't stop catching it. All it takes is skin to skin contact. My philosophy is do not have sex with anyone unless that character is tested and shows you the results. Also I do not have sex with anyone that I would not consider marrying. Just contained by case I catch something terrible from that personage and end up with few or no other options.
"HPV infection. Approximately 20 million Americans are currently infected with HPV, and another 6.2 million people become not long infected each year. At least 50% of sexually active men and women acquire genital HPV infection at some point contained by their lives.
tal warts. About 1% of sexually active adults in the U.S. hold genital warts at any one time.
Cervical cancer. The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2008, 11,070 women will be diagnosed with cervical cancer contained by the U.S.
o3,460 women diagnosed with vulvar cancer;
o2,210 women diagnosed with vaginal and other feminine genital cancers;
o1,250 men diagnosed with penile and other male genital cancer; and
ain populations may be at higher risk for HPV-related cancers, such as gay and bisexual men, and individuals next to weak immune systems (including those who have HIV/AIDS).
RRP is very few and far between. It is estimated that less than 2,000 children get RRP every year." Source(s): http://www.cdc.gov/STD/HPV/STDFact-HPV.h…
